Joe Tesori has been at the helm of the LeMoyne Dolphins' men's golf program for over a decade, with 2021-22 being his 15th season as head coach.

In addition to that, Tesori will now be serving as the LeMoyne Dolphins' women's golf head coach, effective immediately.

Tesori, a 1971 graduate from LeMoyne College, is a member of the PGA National Hall of Fame (2017), The Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame (2013), Central NY PGA Hall of Fame (2002) and the Le Moyne College Gold Wave Hall of Fame (1990).

He was honored in 2020 with the Labron Harris Sr. Award, given to the coach and PGA professional whose support of the game through teaching, coaching, and involvement in the community has helped ensure the continued growth of the game and represent the finest qualities the game has to offer.

Central/Upstate New York was represented in 1980-81 in the PGA Tour thanks to Tesori being a member. In the community, he was the Head Golf Profressional at Syracuse University-owned Drumlins Golf Club for 28 seasons and now serves as the Head Golfing Professional at The Pompey Club.

Tesori was the first-ever LeMoyne Dolphin to qualify for the NCAA Championship, back in 1871 in California.

Under his leadership, LeMoyne men's golf has advanced to regional competitions nine times as a team and twice with individuals.

The Dolphins achieved a berth in the National Finals in 2015 in Charlotte, North Carolina, placing 20th, in 2016 in Denver, Colorado, placing 18th, and in 2017 in Orlando, Florida, placing 13th, the school's best record historically.

Tesori is a native of nearby Endicott, New York, a little over an hour south of the LeMoyne campus.
